High Protein Flour Australia – 16kg Bag Lupin Flour
The Lupin flour originates from Australian Sweet Lupin (ASL) seed (Lupinus angustifolius) and is a Legume selected specifically for the low bitterness/bean/green flavour.
Gluten-Free Diet – Hummus Recipe
Australian Sweet Lupin (ASL) Flour can be used in lots of uses while being a perfect fit for a gluten-free diet. You can use it for baking, making hummus/dips, beverages/smoothies, pancakes…you name it and you can use this flour as a very high protein kitchen essential, with over 40% protein and less than 4% digestible carbohydrate. All of our Lupins are from the species, Lupinus angustifolius which is a very different species to bitter (Alkaloids) tasting South American and some European lupin species. Following over 60 years of non-GMO adaptation, the ASL is a versatile and truly naturally sweet lupin flour, without the sugar.
Our flour is milled from the endosperm, the yellow meal inside the husk of the lupin after the husk has been removed. So this is a high value, natural protein. Our process is purely mechanical and operates at a temperature of less than 36C, preserving the full value of the protein – cool temperature, dry processing so the protein is totally available and you get the full value … as if you picked the bean straight off the plant.
Because of our focus on food safety, our beans are all ‘Single-Origin’, providing unequalled vertical integration, traceability, sustainable farming and quality systems from pristine Australian farming operations – perfect for every global family table.

This is the most awesome value! I use Lupin flour in most of my keto baking as a flour substitute and find buying it in smaller quantities to be very costly but thanks to the bulk 15kg bag I am saving so much money!

Hi Jacqueline – Great to read the positive feedback on our lupin flour. So glad you are able to use the product in your everyday cooking and that you see the value in a 15kg pack. Any feedback on new products you would like to see would be most appreciated?

Love the product and the fact that it is packaged in environmentally friendly paper but the paper breaks easily so it would be better for such a large amount to be in sturdier packaging. The flour is 5 stars, though. I am also using it at home so it lasts me a very long time and is far cheaper than any other option on the market. If using it commercially, the packaging wouldn’t likely be a big problem.

HI Allison – thank you for the feedback. So glad to hear you love the product. Sorry about the pack not being robust enough. Will work on a better solution for the near term. Cheers – David – Chief Lupinologist

Many thanks for the comments Sukhjinder and good to hear you have mastered the art of Lupin… 🙂

Very good, extremely high in protein. As a bodybuilder it’s been a lifesaver since I discovered it as a cheap form of protein.

This Lupin flour is way better than any other form of Lupin flour and much sweeter. We use it for making pasta through to biscuits and consistency always stays the same

Hi Tamara – thanks for the commnents on the taste of the lupin flour. We go to great lengths to ensure we select only the sweetest lupins from our farms. All the best – David
