Lupins have been a major part of my diet for 6 weeks now, I’m using the flakes on cereal (every morning), flour in my baking, and splits in soups. I love the flavour, the mouthfeel, and the nutritional profile, BUT I’ve noticed something else happening as well. As a health enthusiast (read: freak), I’m pretty “wired up” and hyper-aware of bodily changes. Since starting lupins, I’ve noticed a significant drop in hunger and have naturally reduced my portion sizes. While weight wasn’t my primary concern, I’ve seen a reduction there too (hardly surprising if intake is down). Lupin consumption is the only variable I’ve changed, which started me thinking, …and researching.. It turns out the academic literature suggests a link between lupin protein and the body’s natural production of GLP-1 (the hormone targeted by the famous new weight-loss drugs). So are lupins nature’s Ozempic-if so it’s another consumption benefit? It’s fascinating to see the science play out in real-time on my own plate. Things that make you go mmmmm!
Tried the Lupin chocolate cookie mix, it was delicious. My 2-year-old, who is a fussy eater, loved it and I would recommend the product.
As a very health-conscious vegan, my pantry is a revolving door of superfoods, but Lupin is the first one that genuinely feels like a 'cheat code.' I was looking for something completely unprocessed that checked every box: sustainable, non-GMO, incredibly high protein (40%), and low-carb. I wish I’d discovered the Lupin King and his products years ago! The texture of this Lupin Protein Flour is what sold me. Unlike many alternative flours that feel heavy, 'beany,' or gritty, this mills into a fine, light powder with a vibrant, natural golden hue. In my kitchen, it’s been a total game-changer for plant-based baking. Its natural emulsification properties make it a fantastic, clean-label binder, allowing me to easily do without eggs in my savoury bakes and batters, resulting in a perfect, cohesive crumb (see photo). It’s rare to find a functional whole food that simultaneously supports WA farmers, heals the soil, and fuels my body this efficiently. If you’re vegan or grain-free and haven’t integrated Lupin into your kitchen yet, you’re doing it the hard way. This is now a permanent staple in my home. 5 stars isn’t enough.
I first tried these lupin products when I was doing some work at CBH in Perth. I was instantly addicted. The flakes are the best alternative to bread crumbs (so crunchy) and I use the flour for so many things. Just placed an order for pasta and lupin dal, as well as the usual. Can’t wait to try. I’ve used lupin flour in my own pasta making previously too. Seriously good product!

Hi, pasta was a staple in our house but switching to Lupin pasta has been wonderful for blood glucose levels. I actually boiled the pasta for 3min in salted water to make a yummy pasta salad with a creamy tahini dressing. You can make a different salad each time. Everybody loved it.
I was hesitant to try, but so glad I did! Really enjoy these and so do the kids : )
Looks good enough to try.
I LOVE Lupin Flakes! Very versatile in sweet & savory dishes & very filling. What I love most is that these flakes are a complete Zero Hero for any of us on the WeightWatchers program
One of my absolute favorite products. I bulk this product out with chicken to make a cheats Biriyani…my kids love it!
