I have tried 2 of the 4 packets I purchased and nothing improves the taste. My last two packets unfortunately will go in the bin. Tumeric is a very strong flavour and overpowers this item….I can’t think of any other reason why it’s yukky because lupins, rice and coconut are all great flavours.

Adding the lupin flakes to boost the protein was aimed at a reduced rice carbohydrate condiment – use a little instead of carb loaded rice. My husband makes his gluten free muesli with Lupin as the base. I also use it to replace oats in cookies, fruit crumbles and any recipe that uses oats (which are not generally GF).
Lupin tastes a little different to oats but isn’t unpleasant and you will soon adapt to the taste.

I tried Lupin Flour to incorporate into a Keto diet. I have been experimenting with making bread in a bread machine with Lupin flour and have successfully made delicious bread with Lupin Flour after modifiying a low carb recipe I found on YouTube. There is an awesome YouTube site called KetoFusion, The owner of this site has a great number and variety of bread recipes all made with Lupin flour and she experiments with Lupin flour for all her bread making and baking creations for Keto and Low Carb. All her recipes including the ingredients are freely available on her site. I love the taste of Lupin Flour bread, flavour is great and making it in a bread maker is easy. so my bread cravings are satisfied and Lupin Flour is so good for my health.

I have so far used these in muffins and in rice; For rice I have used 50gm LFs and 120gm basmati and steamed it in microwave with excellent results – the flavour is mild.
Muffins had no wheat flour in them just almond meal and lupin flakes!

Put raw flakes on my cereal and berries – great.
Followed the couscous recipe on the internet and it absolutely delicious. Mixed in some pine nuts, low sugar cranberries, pistachio nuts and red onion. Added the juice and rind of a lemon.
Looking forward to using it as a substitute for many high carb grains and flours.

I am really enjoying this product. I have tried using the flakes as crumbs for fish and chicken and the nutty flavour it gives to the dish is amazing. We felt to add Coconut Oil and your choice of a binder would not seem too much to complete a healthy on the go snack. Hooping you enjoyed the Bars after they were cooked? As for the time to delivery, yes we agree, we continue to be plagued by delays in some cases.

The products are great. Taste good, cooks well…BUT the experience was soured by the ULTRA slow despatch and delivery time. 1 week to despatch and 2 weeks to be delivered (3 weeks total) is NOT acceptable. (Fremantle to Cairns)
Sendle and Aramex are the worst delivery service ever. Their tracking system tells you nothing except when its picked up from your warehouse and delivered to me, so you have no idea where the shipment is till the day it arrives!

Be it with Auspost or any other courier company. Unless our customers are prepared to pay for Express, and they are not, then we have not option but to find the lowest cost operator and work with them to deliver as quickly as possible. I was surprised to learn about Lupin Flakes. I’m in Tassie. My health food shop (Natures Works) has never heard about them. I sent a message to their head office. They have several shops in Tassie.
